The clam chowder was amazing.... definitely worth trying. I usually put tartar sauce on my clam strips.... not necessary... very sweet
My wife daughter and I are on vacation from Maine and stopped by for a quick bite. We were seated as soon as we walked in and the atmosphere was bright and friendly. The waitstaff were attentive and super friendly and if you like chowder their’s is some of the best I’ve had. All of our meals were excellent. A must for sure!
This was my first time eating here, and I’ve been to the Outer Banks 6 times! I will make it a point to stop here again for sure. Their portions are very reasonable and priced well for how much you receive. I loved the clams and fish I had (sheepshead). Phenomenal food and service!
Food is great and big portions. The fried clam strips batter is light and crunchy! So good!Hush puppies are wonderful! Their sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had but unfortunately they're coming off the menu in a few weeks!?? That's ok though. Our server, Trisha was very attentive and checked on us often. **Went back to this location a couple of weeks ago. See review below." Chloe was our waitress. She was pleasant, quick, got all the orders right the first time. She was also very attentive. Icing on the cake was meeting Vinne who was dressed up as a bunny rabbit when we visited last time in October. Food was delicious and service was great. We visited (me, my husband, and dear friends) this restaurant in celebration of our good friend birthday on October 31st. Coming to the Diamond Shores was an excellent choice. The restaurant was clean, music wasn’t blasting, and all the staff was dressed up in Halloween attire which was perfect. Our waiter was the absolute best. He was pleasant, attentive, and accommodating. He made sure we were well taken care of and answered any questions we had throughout the evening. The drinks and food were simply superb! If we are ever in the area visiting again, this will be our restaurant of choice. Thanks for an amazing, delightful experience. This restaurant upon entering also had a nice gift shop. We did not shop there because we had so much to do in so little time, but it looked lovely.
Lovely active atmosphere. Customer was fantastic. Fiance is partly deaf and when server was told she moved closer and spoke louder so he could hear with his good ear. We both got soups and an order of hush puppies, which all were amazing. Honestly the best clam chowder I've had.
The clam chowder was some of the best I’ve ever had! The grouper bites are incredible such a light batter the fish is flaky and flavorful. The chipotle sauce was great just a little spicy for those that like a more mild flavor. Absolutely so glad I made a pit stop on my way back to Nags Head from Frisco. Even give a cash discount and I happened to have some on me! Wonderful food and wonderful service. Thankful I found this gem- I will be back!
My boyfriend and I had the sushi at the sushi bar. It was super busy, but service was super friendly and the sushi did not disappoint! We ordered the surfer boy roll, some nigiri, the Alaskan roll and the diamond shoals roll. The food was super fresh and delicious. The sushi chefs were also very kind, and made conversation with us. They made us feel very welcomed. Definitely would go back on our next vacation!
